Once the player runs over pedestrians by the dozen in open-world action games, it’s intriguing to think that each and every one of them might have unique talents or even potential for being a hero. Not so much that I drive more cautiously but after playing Watch Dogs: Legion this third game in the series makes me think about NPCs with a new perspective because a clever twist allows recruit as a playable character which means you can choose any kind of traits they may bring like weapons skills abilities etc
Watch dogs 3 is a full-on hackers-style play where NPCs are recruited who all come from different backgrounds and qualities such as their own weapons, abilities, and Traits giving players choice when selecting characters.
I never thought that the city could become more mundane than it already is. But in Legion’s map for Watch Dogs 2, we see how autonomous drones are used to patrol streets and ferry parcels while Tesla-style self-driving cars haul people around town. The familiar landmarks have been replaced with corporate-fascist banners as holographic projections adorn buildings like watchtowers on every corner. In this near-future version of London, there will be no place left untouched by radical technological advancement or large corporations alike and what once was recognizable has now faded into obscurity under their rule
Playing as anyone works, and it's amazing
The Operative system is excellent
The enhanced utility and variety of drones is super fun
Well-realized London that shows off a diverse culture and art scene
Recruitable characters dialogue often doesn't match up with the current conversation
Too easy, even at its most difficult
PC version crashed frequently
Repetitive missions
